hi there sweet friends,
thought you would like this photo, taken the 4th 2 days after surgery.
Today is a great day, lots of rest, dickson has been disconnected from all machines, has not had any pain meds for 2 days,
He is doing great, the kidney is doing an amazing job. creatinine started at 13.7 and is down to 1.7 today, 3 days later. Dave’s kidney is working amazingly well.
Their match is so good that all the anti rejections drugs are too high and they are lowering the dosages, it is amazing, thank you for your prayers, God is amazing. The doctors are so happy with his progress. He no longer is freezing all the time and he no longer itches or coughs continuously……..those were immediately apparent effects of the kidney. Dickson says he feels so different already.
They are removing his catheter today too so, he will be completely free of attachments just 36 hours after surgery. We should be headed home on Monday ! What a week this has been!
