Financial impact
This whole experience has been one day at a time, two weeks prier to Steven's being diagnosed my husband lost his job. we have a house full with five and me being an at home mom, I was just starting on the thought of going to school before Stevens diagnosis and being that the state assistance that we are receiving helps with the medical bills and food, we are just coming shy on our rent and putting the rest on our prayers until we find means of employment.
I have driven the most this past month making trips home once a week to visit the rest of my kids we have been staying at the Ronald McDonald house near children hospital since April 23 and are hoping to go home and make daily visits for treatment on 5/14. I am the only driver in my home and my most reliable vehicle being that of a suburban we are trying to find a commuter car so it won't be so bad on gas, I have driven 300 miles in the last three weeks and can't even comprehend the gas we will be putting forth to trips for chemo.
I really have not thought much of the financial impact this will be taking on my household because of my faith and there is only so much I can do before it becomes unbearable to even think about it. My only concern right now is going home to clean so it is as germ free as I can possible get it I am more worried about Steven getting a bug than to how I am going to manage my finances and then I guess next week I will worry on those even. thank you so much and god bless
