Days in the hospital are so yuck..pills, nausea, meds, sore throat, walking, nurses, vitals, jello, uncomfortable beds and chairs, writing down everything I drink and comes out 😜, DR's who breeze in your room for two seconds, 5 people in a row wanting to listen to you breath, 50 question every time a person comes into my room, wearing gloves and mask when I walk (they get hot), hospital volunteers, cleaning people 5 times a day, blood draws at 4am, never getting to sleep more than a hour at a time, being asked 50 times a day your name and patient number (you think some else snuck in here?), being tied to my constant companion the iv pole and to top it off I start getting shots in the stomach today to try and get the new stem cells to take hold!
Sigh. I get short tempered sometimes.
But I'm grateful to have a hospital like MD Anderson to help me and all the people in it that put up with me and especially all of my friends, family, loved ones and FB family that are supporting me through all of this. Much love. 💚💜💚💜
