DiagnosisChronic Intestinal Dysmotility, bowel obstructions & a failing 4 organ transplant with surgical complications due to multiple post-transplant surgeries.

Treatment to DateFull colectomy, removal of rectum, construction of internal j-pouch & Multi-Visceral Transplant of Stomach, Pancreas, Duodenum and Small Bowel. Original injury correctly diagnosed post-transplant and sphincterotomy of internal anal sphincter performed, along with multiple surgeries due to transplant complications. (12 to date…16+ total)
Current StatusPrognosis unknown - On full IV support for nutrition/hydration, only able to tolerate ice water without getting sick. Medications keep my body stable as we work to get blood levels and vitals to a safe place for surgery to fix obstructions, close hernias, remove adhesions and rule out chronic rejection.
