Hello ---- Thank you so much for taking time to read my blog.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in March, 2015.  That diagnosis propelled me onto a radically different life course.  The treatment consisted initially of 5 continuous weeks of chemo & radiation therapy which necessitated daily trips to Seattle VA Hospital.  The next step was surgery to remove the colon tumor resulting in a colostomy.  I am now in the third round of 8 chemo treatments (48 hrs of continuous chemo drip) done every other week.  Following this the plan is for a second surgery to reverse the colostomy.

God has been incredibly faithful to walk with me every step of the way ---- there are so many stories I could tell you about the ways He has met my needs & blessed me beyond measure.  However,  it has been challenging.  I have been unable to continue in my job at the Pierce County Library which I have done for nearly 30 yrs.  I am hoping to be able to return to work by June, 2016 if there are no complications.  Until that time I am challenged to meet my monthly financial obligations.

If God moves your heart to help you could help in two ways ---

  • donate to this site in my name

  • pray for my complete healing

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this & consider if God would have you help.   May you be blessed!!!!
