Patti has been battling a rare abdominal cancer since 2008 and has undergone 4 major surgeries over the last 6 years. After a recent series of tests, although showing the the cancer had again returned, doctors believe that a regement of chemotherapy, might possibly keep it in check for a tolerable period of time istead of undergoing another invasive surgery. Doctors are not sure of this desease's reaction to chemo but retesting after the treatments will let us know what steps will be taken this coming spring.
